Please read these terms carefully before using any tech+bash product or service. By subscribing or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by them.
1. Who we are
tech+bash provides an Excel Add-in, tech training, and data processing services for accountants. References to “we”, “us”, or “tech+bash” in these terms refer to the company.

2. The Excel Add-in
2.1 Eligibility
The Add-in requires a valid Microsoft 365 subscription and a compatible version of Excel. It runs on Excel for Windows (Desktop) and Excel Online. It is not currently supported on Excel for Mac.
2.2 Subscription
Access to the Add-in is provided on a subscription basis, billed monthly or annually. Your subscription begins on the date of payment and renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel.
2.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access until that date. We do not offer refunds for unused time within a billing period unless required by law.
2.4 Price changes
We may change subscription prices. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice of any price increase before it applies to your next renewal.
2.5 Acceptable use
You may use the Add-in for your own professional or business purposes. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the Add-in or its underlying code.
3. Training
Training services (live workshops, one-to-one coaching, and video content) are subject to separate arrangements agreed at the point of booking. Where a booking is made, our cancellation policy will be communicated to you at that time.
4. Data services
Bespoke data processing engagements are governed by a separate statement of work and, where applicable, a Data Processing Agreement. These terms apply to the extent not superseded by that agreement.
5. Intellectual property
All content, code, and materials produced by tech+bash — including the Add-in, training materials, and website content — remain our intellectual property. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.
Where we produce bespoke deliverables for you under a data services engagement, ownership of those deliverables will be specified in the relevant statement of work.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
We provide the Add-in and all services in good faith and with reasonable skill and care. However:
- We do not warrant that the Add-in will be error-free or uninterrupted.
- We are not liable for any loss of data, loss of profits, or indirect losses arising from your use of our products or services.
- Our total liability to you in any 12-month period will not exceed the amount you paid us in that period.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email.
